LEAD MANAGEMENT TEAM

At their happiest, talking trade.

OUR TEAM IS OUR STRENGTH

Jim Monaghan
Managing Director

Jim worked in the dealer parts side of the business for 14 years before moving on to the manufacturer level where he has operated for over 20 years with Nexus Aftermarket.

He is a consummate communicator, trainer and motivator who helps people grow themselves and their sales: at every level from CEO to Parts Advisor.

Does your business need the help of an expert who understands the challenges the industry faces today? You’ll struggle to find somebody with a better track record or more experienced than Jim.

The toughest thing Jim ever did was climb Mount Kilimanjaro in support of a good cause.

Bill Stimson
Aftermarket Strategist (UK, Europe & US)

Bill has an unrivalled experience of the automotive aftermarket from both Vehicle Manufacturer and Motor Factor perspectives.

With the businesses that were to become Nexus Aftermarket, Bill conceived, developed, and grew Vauxhall Trade Club for more than 20 years. He became the only person representing a VM to be included in CAT magazines’ ‘aftermarket top 30 influencers and power players’ list.

In 2010 he was appointed to the board of Euro Car Parts and, in a period that saw the company’s turnover grow to over £1 billion, he had board responsibility for marketing, trade sales, technical sales (garage equipment and training), and garage concepts.

In 2021/22 Bill was part of a team that completely re-roofed the Mint Wing at London’s famous St Mary’s Hospital.

Gerard Crockford
Aftermarket Strategist (Asia Pacific)

Gerard worked for Ford Motor Company for 38 years holding key roles such as General Manager Parts and Service (Ford New Zealand) and Marketing and Sales Manager for Parts and Service (Ford Australia). He introduced the competitive crash support program – widely endorsed as the best crash support program in the industry – and reinvigorated the mechanical aftermarket business by introducing Nexus Aftermarket into their organisation.

Since retiring, Gerard has joined the team and is responsible for the strategic development of mechanical sales with Mercedes-Benz, Australia and Ford, New Zealand. Gerard brings a unique perspective to our business, understanding the vehicle manufacturer requirements and the pivotal role of the dealer in driving this business.

He consistently finds creative and innovative solutions to further drive the Nexus business model into the next generation.

During the 1990’s Gerard ran the Northwest Squash league in his spare time.
